JUNIOR ENVIRONMENT ARTIST
Fabrik Games is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Environment Artist to work on an exciting AAA sci-fi/horror project. You will be working within an established team of artists and will be following direction from the Art Director and Lead Artist to create visually appealing props and environments for the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Create interesting, detailed and visually appealing props and environments within an established game world
-
Work closely with other disciplines to deliver assets to a high standard

Take game levels and assets from conception to final lighting and optimisation
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
-
A graduate of a Games/Art university degree or a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a games development (or similar) environment

An understanding of environment art pipelines and workflows
-
Experience with 3D software (e.g. Maya/Modo)
-
Experience with texturing software (e.g. Substance)
-
Experience with hard surface and/or organic modelling
-
Experience with modular kit workflows
-
Experience of using trim sheets and decals
-
An understanding of PBR
-
Experience using current-generation game engines (e.g. UE4/Unity)

Ability to communicate, organise and prioritise effectively
-
Ability to work in a team, within deadlines and time constraints
NICE TO HAVE

Experience using Quixel
-
Experience using ZBrush
-
Experience with game lighting techniques
-
An understanding of game optimisation techniques
-
Knowledge of composition and visual storytelling
